It is priced as a course because that is how it works
Hair grows in cycles, and laser affects a follicle only during its active growth phase. At any moment only some of the follicles in an area are in that phase, which is why one session cannot treat all of them and why sessions are spaced weeks apart.
So there are two answers to 'how much is laser hair removal': the price of a session, and the price of the course. Ask for both.
The pricing models you will meet
- Per area, per session. The most common model, and the hardest to compare, because 'area' is defined differently everywhere.
- Prepaid packages. A course bought up front, usually at a discount, but you commit money before you know how your hair responds.
- Size bands. Small, medium, large and extra-large areas, with the clinic confirming which body areas fall in each band.
Questions worth asking
- What exactly counts as an area? Full legs and lower legs are very different prices.
- How many sessions do you expect for my hair, and what is the total?
- What happens if I need more sessions than planned?
- Will this work on my hair color? Very light, gray or red hair has little pigment for the laser to target.
- Is maintenance included or extra?
Reduction, not removal
The realistic outcome is hair reduction: fewer hairs, often finer and lighter where they return. Be cautious of any clinic that promises permanent removal.
What we charge
Current per-session prices at Magic Touch are $99 for full legs, $60 for lower legs and $120 for the full back including shoulders. Other areas are booked by size, and our team confirms which areas are included and recommends a plan after assessing your skin and hair.
